Dear INCCA member,
Do you know how to connect with our network? There are many ways to share, develop and preserve our knowledge at INCCA, and the more we do so, the more valuable the network becomes.
For instance, did you know that by uploading your (research)project on our website, you could get featured in our newsletter that is sent to 2700 art conservation professionals? Another way is to propose a topic for one of our INCCA Talks or INCCA Cafes. The Talks are meant to explore current conservation topics, whereas the Cafes are more lowkey and grassroot driven. In our last Cafe, members of our own sister organisation INCCA South Korea talked about their activities, you can find more information in the newsletter below. Our last Talk was a conversation between Fernando Dominguez Rubio and Pip Laurenson about Rubio’s new book Still Life: Ecologies of the Modern Imagination at the Art Museum.
After fifteen dedicated years Karen te Brake-Baldock says farewell to being the INCCA coordinator. We like to thank her immensely for her time and effort. Since July 1 there is a new INCCA coordinator, Ilka van Steen. Please feel free to email her with your ideas on Talks, Cafes or other inquiries at email@example.com.
Keep an eye out for all our activities on our website and social media, there are many exciting events on the horizon!
