On February 27 and 28, 2021, the 22nd Contemporary Art Conservation Conference will be held, organized by the Department of Conservation-Restoration of the Reina Sofía Museum, with the support of the Mapfre Foundation.
Aimed at professionals, researchers and companies in the sector, this edition will take place virtually, through 15-minute interventions, plus 5 minutes of live questions. The selected speakers will have to send their recorded presentation according to technical requirements that will be provided to them.
The deadline for submitting proposals for communications ends on November 4, 2020. Interested persons should send the following documentation to the email: email@example.com:
• Unpublished proposal related to the conservation or restoration of contemporary art.
• Abstract of 1,500 words in a Word document on the topic addressed. Indicate the topic at the beginning of the document with five keywords.
• Curriculum and contact information.
The proposal can be submitted in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French or English.
Proposals will be evaluated by a scientific committee and those selected to participate in the Conference will be capable of being included in a subsequent publication after their final evaluation by the editorial committee.
The information related to the registration of attendees and the program will be available on the Reina Sofía Museum website from January 2021.
