On the 4th July 2008, INCCA was presented by Karen te Brake-Baldock to a group of conservator/restorers, curators, archivists and artists in Dublin. It was the first time the network had been officially presented in Ireland. The launch was organised by ICHAWI (the Institute for the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works in Ireland), and courtesy of the Director, Ms.Barbara Dawson, it was hosted by the Dublin City Gallery, the Hugh Lane. About 24 people attended and the reactions were very positive. The presentation has already resulted in new membership.

ICHAWI directors Adrian Kennedy and Maighread McParland have agreed to continue informing museum professionals about INCCA and also to encourage new members to contribute their records to the database for artists' archives.
