The North American group of INCCA was launched in January 2006. In May 2009 it became a corporation governed by a board of directors and managed by an Executive Director. A Program Committee develops and oversees its public events. There is no direct membership to INCCA-NA. Members simply join the international organization and participate by making contributions to the Artists' Archive database and other INCCA activities. The current focus of INCCA-NA is programming to promote public conversation on the conservation of contemporary art.
