On the occasion of this symposium, two installations from the collection of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam will be on display. Participants can visit during the lunch break. Please note, the work by Peter Struijken is on show for one day only!
Peter Struijcken's installation Project I-‘90’ will be on display in Studio K, Timorplein 62, Amsterdam. Studio K about 10 minutes walk from the KIT.
Opening time is: Wednesday 9th June, 13:00-14:00 (during lunch break)
Participants in the parallel session, Desision-making in contemporary art conservation (day 1) will discuss this installation.
Joan Jonas' installation Organic Honey's Visual Telepathy/Organic Honey's Vertical Roll will be on display at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten, Sarphatistraat 470 (room 'projectruimte zuid'). The Rijksakademie is about 3 minutes walk from the KIT. Please note, this location has no wheelchair access.
Opening times are:
Wednesday 9th June, 13:00-14:00 (during lunch break)
Thursday 10th June, 13:00-14:00 (during lunch break)
Friday 11th June, 09:00-10:00 (before start parallel sessions) and 12:00-13:00 (during lunch break)
Participants in the parallel session, Decision-making in contemporary art conservation (day 3) will discuss this installation.

Olafur Eliasson's Notion Motion is on display at the time of the symposium (and until October 17 2010) in the Boijmans van Beuningen Museum in Rotterdam. For more information and details on how to reach the museum see: http://www.boijmans.nl/en/
