During the pilot project 'Artist's Interviews' (Netherlands Institute for Cultural Heritage / Institute Collectie Nederland (ICN) in collaboration with the SBMK, Foundation for the Conservation of Contemporary Art, 1998-99) ten Dutch artistswere interviewed. The main focus in these interviews was on the artist's general oeuvre, working practice and artistic intentions, as well as on issues of ageing and conservation. The Scenario for Artists' Interviews was developed during this project and served as a guidance for interviewers.
